I write lists (digitally). and the tasks on them roll over to the next day if something isn’t completed. I write them lazily in the morning and they rearrange them in priority order.

Then I let myself rest, and attend to whatever calls me for the next half hour or so.

After this I’ll usually do my morning routine of breakfast, getting dressed and sitting outside for a short time.

After this I’ll head inside and I will look at the top things on the list and get started on one and keep track of time spent on it.

And so the day continues between “do whatever” (it’s still productive) mode and “do an important task” mode. For me the key is to not feel forced to do things in a certain order.

But yes walk breaks are great, and also knowing the time of day that you’re most alert/effective. Keep an eye on when you’re most productive and rearrange your daily activities according to that.

And most of all, keep persevering!
