Transferwise (now known as Wise) has made it easy for me to receive payments in currencies other than my own and to convert between currencies.

As part of my remote work, I earn in USD (United States Dollars) and I can receive this income into my Wise account.
Whenever I want I can choose to convert this to my own current (NZD) with a minimal conversion fee.
