Hi All, I’m thinking of moving on from haikus shortly to longer, more free-form poetry and articles and mixing it up a bit. Feel free to provide me feedback on which of these formats you prefer, or whether your preferences are more based on the subject matter.

Personally I think I prefer to write longer article-style pieces, however they require the most brain energy and planning, and sometimes I simply don’t have that energy left in me to write them. And that’s when I’m be inclined to switch over to poetry.

Christmas Tree

Christmas pine, standing,
In our lounge, plastic and strong,
2 ft tall, splended.

Summer Christmas

Summer sun is strong
We decide not to go out
Sunburn is imminent
