The day ran away from me today, so I thought I’d entertain you all with some haikus which summarise a few philosophical moments/moods that I have found myself in (today).

Tiredness

Sloth hangs over me
Sleepiness clouds my vision
Despite this, I rise

Timing

Mum is late again
We will go for a good walk
Maybe, by lunchtime.

Trees

The tree trunks are wrapped
Decorated with bright bands
Of ribbons in bright shades.

Pot Plants

After filling the can
I pour water over them
our  verdant young plants.

Outtage

No lights, no oven!
How am I supposed to cook
Ah, the stove, matches.
